28th ANNUAL TEXAS PARTIAL DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS CONFERENCE
March 19-20, 2005
University of Texas - Pan American, Edinburg, Texas

Welcome to the home page of the 28th Annual Texas Partial Differential Equations Conference to be hosted by the Department of Mathematics at the University of Texas - Pan American, Edinburg, Texas. The conference will be held on Saturday and Sunday, March 19-20, 2005, on the campus of the University of Texas - Pan American.

The Texas Partial Differential Equations Conference (Texas PDE) is an annual event that brings together researchers working on partial differential equations and related topics. The Texas PDE was first organized by Professors Charles Radin and Ralph Showalter at the University of Texas at Austin in 1978. The Texas PDE has a strong democratic tradition: there are no principal speakers, all talks are allocated the same length of time, and there is no registration fee. The intent is to encourage participation by young faculty and graduate students.
